Middlemarch is delighted to announce that we’re proudly sponsoring an inspiring installation at this year’s Birmingham Light Festival.
Taking place across the city from 12–15 February 2026, the festival transforms public spaces into a dazzling outdoor gallery of illuminated artworks, encouraging residents and visitors to see the city in a new light.
As part of the festival’s environmental and cultural programme, we’re supporting Tipping Point by internationally renowned artist Luke Jerram at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The immersive installation creates a simulated forest fire experience, accompanied by an evocative soundtrack and real-world stories about forest fires, bringing the impacts of deforestation and climate change to life in a powerful and accessible way.
Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability. We aim to connect people from all walks of life with the ecological issues that matter most and the urgent need for nature recovery.
The Birmingham Light Festival also champions sustainable practice in its production and layout by encouraging visitors to explore the installations on foot and minimise environmental impact where possible.
We’re proud to be part of an event that brings together creativity and community to encourage meaningful climate conversations about our natural world.
